As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Response in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Support emergency and incident response activities, including assisting with evacuations, restricted area control, and continuity of site operations during changing conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
