Armed Security Officer Driver Patrol Response

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part‑Time Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Response in San Antonio, TX. The role involves safeguarding clients in various industries, including retail and malls, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence. This position requires a valid driver’s license and a Level III Armed Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, including contacting emergency services or site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazardous conditions, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification (required in Texas).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Compliance with state and local licensing requirements for driving positions.

Pay

$15.50 per hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Saturday: 5:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Sunday: 5:00 PM – 11:30 PM
