Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Incident Response in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and communication while responding to site needs. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity entering or leaving the location.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
