About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Dispatch Operations in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, dispatch resources, and maintain accurate incident documentation. This driving post requires a professional who can provide exceptional customer service, remain responsive to evolving situations, and help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific and security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and communications, dispatching appropriate personnel and documenting incidents in accordance with site procedures.
  • Coordinate communications between site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders to support timely responses to incidents and critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and records related to access, deliveries, and operational activity in an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

  • Day Time: Wednesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Friday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

$27.03 / Hour
