As a Security Officer Armed Clearance Required Full Time Mobile Patrol in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
