Armed Security Officer - Full Time Mobile Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer - Full Time Mobile Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities accurately and report concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.13 / hour

• Monday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
