What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and incidents.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
