Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Property Patrol in Cypress, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual)

• 21+ Years of Age (C101)
• Active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only) (C122)
• Valid Driver's License

Position Type & Pay Rate

• Full Time
• $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with store leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor for theft-related activity, trespassing, loitering, and policy violations, and assist with de-escalation, reporting, and follow-up in accordance with post orders and local requirements.
• Carry authorized duty equipment, including a firearm, and perform all assigned responsibilities in accordance with Allied Universal standards, site policies, and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
