$26.50 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Part‑Time)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, members, guests, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, and service personnel in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security‑related activities, and maintain a professional presence while carrying authorized equipment in compliance with applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
