As a Security Officer Alarm Triage in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Professional in a healthcare location, you will help coordinate security-related communications, respond to incoming calls and alarms, document activity, and support timely response to incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service while helping maintain a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, and requests for assistance to appropriate personnel using radios, telephones, and computerized dispatch systems.
- Monitor access control, alarm, camera, and communication systems; document relevant activity and escalate unusual conditions according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communication with on-site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift reports while supporting regular and random patrol activity around the facility and perimeter.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
