As a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor alarm activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain clear communication with site personnel, and document key information using computer systems. Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour
Job Schedule: DayTime, Saturday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sunday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize service requests, and coordinate the response of on-site personnel to incidents, alarms, and other security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access control, alarm, camera, and other operational systems as assigned, and communicate unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid are preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
