Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers, following post orders and reporting suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy violations.
- Observe site operations and report hazards, maintenance issues, and/or operational disruptions that could affect people, property, or business activity.
Requirements
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A current guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Alarm panel experience.
- Customer service experience.
