Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with hotel personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenity areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe guest and visitor activity, and support the orderly flow of people throughout the location in alignment with property protocols.
• Assist with security-related incidents involving disturbances, trespassing, lost and found concerns, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining a courteous presence in a hospitality-focused environment.

Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
