About the role

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Monitoring in Graniteville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Your role will help deter security-related incidents through visible presence, clear communication, and timely reporting while using computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at an automotive manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-control logs and records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, direct visitors and deliveries to appropriate locations, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and promptly communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience using access control and badge systems.
• Preferred experience using alarm panels.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
