As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Monitoring Patrol in Danvers, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay
Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour
Schedule
Day Time: Saturday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency responders when needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
