Security Officer Armed Patrol Alarm Monitoring

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Alarm Monitoring Security Officer in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, deter incidents through a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders and applicable laws.
• Maintain required reports and documentation, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with site procedures, training, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.

Pay

$24.16 / hour

• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
