Security Officer - Alarm Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with property procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: Saturday, 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Day shift: Sunday, 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
