As a Airport Security Officer Patrol Observer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers with outstanding customer service and communication.

Pay Rate

$19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, travelers, visitors, and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and/or shift documentation, and support crowd management, traffic direction, and public assistance during busy periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
