Job Description

As a Airport Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to travelers and staff. Pay Rate

$19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

  • Monday: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
  • Friday: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
  • Saturday: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
  • Sunday: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

Requirements

  • 20+ Years of Age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and restricted areas, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and noteworthy observations in written reports, logs, and/or electronic systems as required by Allied Universal and the location.

Minimum Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
