What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting security-related reporting and follow-up.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe store and mall activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention awareness by monitoring high-traffic areas, assisting with crowd management, and documenting security-related incidents according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
