Security Officer Afternoon Patrol
About the Role
As a Security Officer Patrol in Erie, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report unusual activity. You will support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
Qualifications
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$13.70 / Hour
Schedule
Monday to Friday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
