Security Officer Access Systems

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Systems in Justin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify visitor and driver credentials, and maintain required entry, exit, and delivery documentation
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly reporting observations to the appropriate personnel
• Support the protection of personnel, property, and shipments by observing facility activity, documenting incidents, and communicating potential concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Access control/badge experience is preferred
• Alarm panel experience is preferred

Pay

$20.09 / Hour

Schedule

Daytime, Tuesday through Thursday 06:00 AM - 07:00 PM
