Security Officer Access Screening

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment for guests, residents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points and help to regulate entry and exit for guests, employees, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site guidelines.
• Verify identification, credentials, reservations, and/or visitor authorizations while maintaining accurate logs and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local emergency services and/or site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around lobbies, entrances, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting conditions that may require attention or follow-up.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
