About the role
As a Security Officer Access Response in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and use technology to document activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures and applicable access-control requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
- Support a professional environment by completing required reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$14.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM
