Security Officer Access Support

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support loss prevention efforts, and/or assist with traffic and delivery flow at the location.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, observations, and/or security-related activities.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Good customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
