Security Officer Entry Response
About the role
As a Security Officer Entry Response in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report concerns involving restricted areas or property movement.
- Support daily operations by observing for maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, then reporting findings through appropriate channels.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Security-related experience.
