About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location in Bethlehem, PA, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist employees, visitors, and vendors with professionalism. Your visible presence and clear communication help support a secure environment and deter incidents. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe inbound and outbound deliveries, coordinate access for approved vendors and drivers, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, parking locations, exterior perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.03 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thursday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Friday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
