Security Officer Access Coordination

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and/or entry and exit protocols at the location.
• Monitor gates, doors, screening points, and/or other assigned access areas to help support authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
• Document daily activity, access-related events, and/or incident details in required logs or reports, and help support security-related procedures tied to facility operations.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
