Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Point Attendant in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

  • Day: Thur 06:00 PM - 05:00 AM, Fri 06:00 PM - 05:00 AM, Sat 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused business location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate access-related records by monitoring access points, verifying credentials and visitor authorization, issuing visitor passes or badges as directed.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate observations, incidents, and access-control issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
