As a Security Officer Access Intake in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and other security-related policies for a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the perimeter and access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document security-related activities, access issues, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
