Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify entry authorization, and support visitor and/or delivery processing in accordance with site protocols for a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed during routine operations or critical situations, while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
