What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and/or credential verification to help support authorized access for employees, contractors, drivers, and guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing shipping, receiving, parking, and common areas for unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Communicate with site personnel, dispatch, and/or emergency responders as needed to support daily operations and help address access-related or security-related issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
