Security Officer Access Gate Attendant

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with location protocols.
- Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access within the location.
- Support day-to-day operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by communicating clearly with drivers, staff, and/or guests regarding site rules, traffic flow, and restricted areas.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old for armed roles, 18 years old for unarmed roles.
- Licenses: Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Driver's License: Required for driving positions only.
