Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or other security-related issues.
Requirements
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
