Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in support of security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and conditions that may require reporting or follow-up.
- Complete required reports and logs related to access control activity, incidents, and daily site operations, while following Allied Universal standards and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
