Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Screen visitors, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue access credentials as directed, and communicate access requirements and/or site expectations clearly and professionally.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access issues, and/or other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

About the Role
This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
