Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, assist employees and visitors, and deliver strong customer service. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will play an important role in daily site operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and other security-related policies.
- Monitor entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries at a food and beverage location, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Maintain logs and records related to visitor access, contractor check-in, vehicle entry, and/or other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, docks, and common areas, as conditions and operational needs vary by site.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred skills
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Pay & schedule
Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour
Schedule: DayTime, Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thursday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
