Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct safety training for all personnel.
- Lead a team of Safety Champions in the plant.
- Execute all assigned Safety Champion tasks.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Business, Manufacturing or other related field preferred but not required.
Job Knowledge/Skills Required
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Safety certifications are strongly preferred.
- Five (5) or more years preferred.
- Experience interpreting OSHA Regulations and Ensuring Compliance Is Required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Group presentation skills.
- Computer proficiency (including Excel and Word).
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to implement win-win solutions.
- Excellent statistical and mathematical skills.
