Security Officer Access Control Weekends Mornings

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage site entry, verify visitor and employee access, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the food and beverage manufacturing location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor or vendor entry requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain visitor and access logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.95 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
