Job Schedule: Day Time — Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a corporate technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with post orders, helping to support authorized access and reporting policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with incident reporting, routine observations, and other security-related duties as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Qualifications

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
