As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Gastonia, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor site activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage location; verify credentials, authorize access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor records.
• Observe incoming deliveries and vendor activity, communicate access requirements, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
