About the role
As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to help prevent unauthorized entry and security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a controlled workplace.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Observe vehicle, delivery, and personnel traffic at access points, directing individuals to designated check-in areas and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
