About the role
As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial engineering location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift communications while supporting Allied Universal and site policies.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Wednesday: 04:30 AM - 04:30 PM
- Thursday: 04:30 AM - 04:30 PM
