Security Officer Access Control Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and/or shipping and receiving zones to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Support food and beverage operations by helping to control restricted area access, maintain orderly traffic flow at gates and entrances, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding security-related procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
