About the role

As a Security Officer Access Control Compliance in Doraville, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Through visible presence, clear communication, and professional customer service, you will help deter security-related incidents while supporting site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of authorized personnel and vehicles while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
