As a Security Officer Access Control in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an industrial construction location, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain visitor and contractor access records.
• Control access to restricted areas, coordinate with site representatives regarding authorized personnel, and report access concerns or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
