Security Officer 3

About the role

Security Officers are responsible for performing access control, routine patrols, emergency/incident response, and ensuring completion of administrative requirements as assigned by the Security Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all access/exit points for anomalies and conduct access control.
• Patrol perimeter, exterior, and interior of the property to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of property.
• Enforce Club policies.
• Engage in security training.
• Complete written reports and document daily activities.
• Abide by standard operating procedures.
• Respond to security incidents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year security work experience in a professional setting.
• Guard card required.
• Experience performing technical procedures and completing reports.
• Comfortable working under pressure.
• Dedicated to quality service.
• Familiarity with Security policies and procedures.

• Ability to assess and quickly react to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Ability to follow detailed, step-by-step procedures.
• Understand operational priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment.
• Capable of working independently without extensive direction or oversight.
• Use technology to process information, improve security, and communications.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Detail-oriented focus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: baton, mace, handcuffing, CPR/First Aid/AED.

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $22.17 - $29.53 per hour.
