About the Role

The Security Manager will serve as the on-site leader responsible for the security program at our Perris, CA site, including physical security, risk management, and compliance. This role ensures alignment with enterprise standards while supporting safe, secure, and uninterrupted warehouse operations. As part of the site leadership team, the Security Manager oversees security operations, third-party providers, incident management, investigations, and system performance, while driving continuous improvement and a strong security culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead site security strategy, enforce standards, advise leadership on risk, and partner cross-functionally to align security with operations.
• Oversee daily security operations, guard force, and controls while driving consistency and continuous program improvement.
• Manage and optimize security systems, ensuring performance, compliance, and effective monitoring and response.
• Lead incident response and investigations, ensuring proper documentation, escalation, and resolution with key stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement corrective actions to address control gaps.
• Deliver training and promote a strong security culture, ensuring adherence to site protocols and emergency procedures.
• Track KPIs and trends, report on risk and performance, and drive improvements through data and insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or business administration preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of security, asset protection, or risk management experience.
• Experience in industrial, logistics, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Leadership experience managing teams or vendors.
• Strong background in investigations, incident response, and security systems.
• Experience with audits, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to improve processes and execute in fast-paced environments.
• Experience building security programs and supporting audits.
• Familiarity with platforms like Genetec.
• Preferred certifications such as CPP, PSP, or PCI.

Work Environment

Up to 15% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

Pay

The base range for this position in the posted location is $106,400.00 - $145,180.00, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO, and other benefits.
