Core Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner in cases of fire, injuries or medical events, and safety concerns.
- Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records.
- Cookordinate staff safety education with the guidance of the Vice President of loss prevention, safety and security as well as the Hotel General Manager.
- Hire, train, and develop a team of security personnel in alignment to company standards.
- Maintain a detailed Daily Activity Report, and correct and report any fire or health and safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance equipment in addition to completing regular property patrols to identify, correct, and report potentially hazardous conditions or suspicious activity.
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities, offering professional, friendly and engaging service where applicable.
Qualifications And Skills
- 2-4 Years of Security, Loss Prevention, or Military/Law Enforcement Experience
- 2+ Years of Leadership experience including performance management, scheduling, and training plan development.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, clear and concise communication
- Technical proficiency with electronic security/surveillance systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- An associates or bachelors degree in criminal justice, hospitality, corporate security, or related field preferred.
