Security/Maintenance (Part-Time-25 HRS/WK)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Chapel clean and in order.
• Report janitorial and facility-related issues to Corps Officers.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as:
• Clean and sanitize Women and Men’s rooms.
• Clean and maintain public areas and workspaces.
• Empty trash cans from kitchen as needed.
• Maintain floors clean, striped, waxed, mapped, and vacuumed.
• Repair assigned items.
• Handle other duties as assigned by Corps Officers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks within the Corps.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of Corps clients.
• Interact positively and helpfully with co-workers, volunteers, clients, and visitors.
• Project a positive image as a Corps worker.
• Write and read in English and Spanish.
• Experience working with a disadvantaged population is necessary.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the day.
• Ability to follow instructions and understand building safety and maintenance.
